Jill has been extensively trained in wellness coaching and has been a Registered and Licensed Dietitian since 1996. She is one of the few dietitians in Houston who is board certified as an Eating Disorders Specialist Dietitian (CEDS), and currently provides consultations other CEDS candidates (approved consultant) through the first ever residency program for dietitians entering the field of eating disorders.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional science from Texas A&M University. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in nutrition and food management from The University of Central Oklahoma.

Jill has gained experience in most areas of Medical Nutrition Therapy and has worked at various hospitals as a clinical dietitian in the area of oncology, OB/GYN with the most focus in adult intensive care, neonatal intensive care and pediatric intensive care. Her primary focus the last decade has been disordered eating, eating disorders, and weight concerns. For 5 years, she worked at The Methodist Hospital's Weight Management Center facilitating groups and providing individual nutrition therapy. She has also worked in bariatric surgery during this time as well. She has also worked with Houston Eating Disorders Center (now ERC - Houston) providing medical nutrition therapy for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) clients. Currently, Jill works with primarily clients struggling with eating disorders and with families guiding them with Family Based treatment as a main intervention through Empowered U.
Jill has been extensively trained in the following modalities: Family Based Treatment-FBT (USCD in San Diego), Emotion Coaching Family Therapy-EFFT (by Adele LaFrance, PhD), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with Steven Hayes, PhD), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through Baylor University), and formally trained in RO-DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). Her main focus working with adolescent clients with AN or BN is FBT combined with EFFT. Jill works as a team along side of medical, therapy and at times psychiatrist.

Laura earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Baylor University. After graduating, she entered the corporate world as a manager for a mortgage finance company in Denver, Colorado. She returned to school 5 years later to earn a second Bachelor's of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Following her second degree, Laura worked for two eating disorder treatment centers with levels of care including residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. During these years, Laura grew to greatly appreciate the team approach for eating disorder treatment and desired to take on a more long-term role in outpatient care.
Laura specializes in an anti-diet approach of nutrition management. She works with clients in need of eating disorder treatment, solutions for disordered eating patterns, and weight-neutral care. Laura is consulted by Jill Sechi, MS, RDN, LD, CEDS to obtain her certification as an eating disorder specialist.
Outside of nutrition care, Laura enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and park adventures with her two toddlers. Every year, she sets the goal to visit one new National or State Park. Laura also loves to cook and believes meal time is a great opportunity to reconnect with family, friends, and loved ones.
Laura offers an open and safe place in her appointments. She desires to work with her clients collaboratively to find solutions unique to them.

Mateus earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition through a sandwich degree between the University of Brasilia in Brazil, and Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He earned his Master of Science in Nutrition degree from Lamar University, where he also obtained his DPD verification statement. Mateus completed his first round of dietetic internships in Brazil. He completed his second round of internships in the US through the Texas WIC program. Mateus originally became a Registered Dietitian with the Brazilian Council of Nutrition in 2016 and obtained his American registration with the CDR in 2022. He is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a certified health coach with the American Council on Exercise.
His undergraduate degree was heavily focused on clinical practice and medical nutrition therapy. During his experience in Brazil, Mateus provided nutrition care to a varied array of patients, including high-risk pregnant mothers, IBD post-surgery patients, general inpatient pediatric patients, and general outpatient consultations. Upon moving back to Texas, he worked as a nutritionist and site supervisor for the Texas WIC program, providing nutrition and breastfeeding counseling to pregnant and postpartum mothers, infants, and children.
During his graduate degree, Mateus took a course on eating disorders that sparked his interest in the field. During his second dietetic internship, he sought experiences with eating disorders. As an intern, he worked with the inpatient eating disorders program at the Texas Children’s Pediatric Hospital. He also completed part of his internship at the Wellness Coaching and Nutrition Therapy practice, where he solidified his intention to work in the field of eating disorders and disordered eating.
Mateus practices with a weight-neutral and anti-diet approach to health. He provides client-centered, evidence-based care. He is pursuing a specialization in eating disorders and is consulted by Jill Sechi, MS, RD, LD, CEDS-C.
Outside of the office, Mateus loves nature and live music. He travels to Colorado every year to go hiking in the national forests and enjoys traveling. He likes spending time with his family and exploring Houston’s endless restaurant options.

Lisa has been practicing as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian for 7 years. She obtained her Dietetics degree through Kansas State University and completed her dietetic internship with the University of Minnesota-The Emily Program, which was the only internship with an eating disorder emphasis at the time. She received training in outpatient through residential levels of care.
Lisa has been working for several years in an outpatient capacity seeing clients with disordered eating/eating disorders. Additionally, Lisa is also an inpatient hospital dietitian for a Level 1 Trauma center and is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician focusing on nutrition support for patients.
Lisa has a passion for helping runners learn to fuel adequately and without restriction so they can run their best and maintain optimal health long-term.
Lisa and her husband live in Tennessee with their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, and being outdoors.

Sarah earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Health with a minor in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University. After working for three years as a medical assistant for a neurosurgeon’s practice in Houston, she returned to school to earn a second Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship both through the University of Houston. Sarah worked her way through school at a medical practice specializing in the medical management of eating disorders. Here she discovered her passion for working with eating disorder clients and realized it was the perfect blend of neuroscience and nutrition.
Sarah specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, and also loves working with clients with other health concerns like diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hyperlipidemia, and PCOS while using a weight-neutral approach. Sarah is is consulted by Jill Sechi, MS, RDN, LD, CEDS to obtain her certification as an eating disorder specialist. She also was promoted to the role of Community & Operations Director in January 2022 to support the staff and growth of WC&NT!
Upon request, Sarah can offer a faith-based approach to her clients to help incorporate Christian values into the discovery of their relationship with food and body image issues.
Outside of work, Sarah uses music and singing as an outlet for stress management and self-care. She loves to spend hours playing on her very out-of-tune piano, and volunteers as the choir director at her church. She also has a strong passion for world-mission work which ignited after a medical mission trip to Kenya during her undergraduate studies, and hopes to seize all opportunities to incorporate this into her practice.

Kiera is currently a post-baccalaureate student studying Human Nutrition at the University of Houston. She plans to pursue her dietetic internship to become a Registered Dietitian and work in community nutrition and public health.
Kiera received her first bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design at Florida State University and worked in Commercial Architecture for three years. She started her career working on mixed-use and office building design projects. However, her passion for nutrition and counseling led her to return to school to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics. At Wc&Nt, Kiera leads clients through Group Meal Supports and offers Recovery Coaching through the Recovery Record platform.
Outside of work, you can find her teaching yoga or doing activities like rock climbing. She also loves thrifting furniture or unique home décor and cooking up new recipes in the kitchen!
